Sir Peter Moores established the Peter Moores Foundation in 1964 in order to develop his charitable aims, in music and the visual arts, and through education, health, youth, social and environmental projects. Because of his initiatives and life-long commitment to these causes, he has disbursed many millions through the charities he has founded - ‘to get things done and to open doors'.
The Swansong Project marks the final activity of the Foundation, which has now fully used its funds and will close down in 2014, its 50th anniversary year
